Shipping Supplies from Purolator

Due to the urgency of newborn screening samples, NSO has worked with Purolator to provide bright red-coloured, healthcare shipping supplies to all submitters in Ontario. These supplies should only be used for shipping newborn screening samples.

As of December 2020, only the following shipping supplies are approved for use by NSO for shipping newborn screening samples:

Healthcare Labels	1245 Health Care Labels	500 /roll	These labels indicate that the package contains healthcare specimens.   Please be sure to affix one on every shipment.
Peel ‘n Stick Shipping Labels	Online Shipping Labels	200 /pack	Peel and stick label that can be used in any printer 8.5”x11”
Labelopes	Domestic Labelopes	25 /pack	Adhesive shipping label pouch if not using peel and stick labels.

Ordering instructions

1. Identify the supplies you require.
2. Send an email to ontarioops@purolator.com with subject line: NSO Shipping Supplies
3. Include the following information in your email message:
   • Clearly state that you ship samples for “Newborn Screening Ontario”
   • The product and item code you wish to order with the quantities you need.
   • Your organization’s full address including the department/person you would like these delivered to and your phone number.
4. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking number when your order is processed.
5. Allow 5-10 days for the delivery of these supplies to your organization.
